Q:  -11 / K-1 = 3

     In the above equation, what is the value of k?

Option:

a. -14 / 3

b.   -8 / 3

c.    8 / 3

d.  14 / 3

Solution:

Let's solve the equation

-11 / K-1 = 3

-11 = 3 (K-1)

-11 = 3K - 3

3K = -11 + 3

3K = -8

K = -8 / 3 

Hence, option B is correct.
