**Q: There are n fruits in a basket, and 5 of them are apples. If 6 oranges are added to the basket, how many fruits in the basket will not be apples? **

**Option:**

**a**. n - 11

**b. **n - 1

**c.** n + 1

**d**. n + 2

Solution:

Number of fruits in the basket = n

Number of apples in the basket = 5

6 oranges are added to the basket

Now, total number of fruits in the basket = n + 6

Therefore, No. of fruits which are not apple = n + 6 - 5 = n + 1

**Hence, correct answer is C.**
