Q. 60% of 130 is the same value as 50% of what number ?

Options:-

 a)  136

 b)  150

 c)  156

 d)  172

Solution:

Choice C is the correct answer. Let’s assume the number to be X.

60% of 130 = 0.6 x 130 = 78

It is given 50% of X is equal to 78.

50% of X = 0.5 X = 78

X = 78 / 0.5 = 156
